Ike is Adorable.
So I uploaded Ike's picture onto PuppyWars.com, and guess what? He's won 79% of his matches! While I think this is an injustice, because he obviously is the cutest puppy in the history of puppies, I'm still happy, simply because most of the puppies only have a 50% or so win rate.

Shoes.

Here are my new shoes. They are amazing. I needed to share them with you all.
As you can see, we had an amazing weekend. Shopping, Two Weeks Notice, and Pizza? Yep. Authentic "Girls' Weekend!"
Oh well...back to reality...
Bored and hungry: a bad combination
So, I'm sitting on the floor at the Buffalo High School, very, very hungry and since the Buffalo High School is out in the middle of nowhere, it's not like I could even go and find some food (and my purse full of many many things is lacking food).
I mean, I have car keys, but somehow I don't think Pritschet would appreciate me just taking the Suburban out for a spin. Plus, they should be letting out chambers in a bit, so I'll steal a cookie or something.
The ballot collector also asked if I had wireless, which I do (thank God), so he's going to go start up his computer. In short, I really do love Forensics; the judges are only insane half of the time and I get to see the little ones, whom I miss a lot. More than I can express actually.
I'm going to go back to being hungry. *sigh* I should have bought something to eat at Dunn Brothers. But they gave me a free sample of ice cream which was really good and really nice of them. :)
EDIT: So Facebook and Hotmail are blocked, but hey! We'll leave YouTube open. That makes no sense. I hear people; people might have food! Food!

And for those of you who are interested in such things, all six books that Jane Austen ever published or were published in her name are on this list. Just in case anyone was wondering how influential she has been in the world of literature... It goes Shakespeare, Austen, Dickens... etc. :)

There are just some things
There are some things I miss from home and other things I really like about college. One of the things I really like right now is the marshmallow war happening on my floor. Quick explanation: you have a marshmallow and the name of a person on your floor to hit with your marshmallow, you have their name and you must have it at the time you hit them with a marshmallow, at the same time someone has your name is attempting to hit you with the marshmallow, and you're not supposed to know who has your name but most people do (I don't, and it's freaking me out).
Well, last night before this all started, the boys formed an alliance against the girls, so the girls formed an alliance as well. So, if you're a girl with another girl you're safe until all the guys are down. However, our count, as far as we know right now, is two guys down to about six girls, although, that's about the ratio in the game, so we are probably about even.
Still, it's pretty freaky and lots of fun with the nerve racking bits and such. Oh well, I should do my homework. I don't think I'll be venturing very far from my room without my umbrella for a while.
And, our motto:

Just Checking In...and Giving Reason to Laugh
It's only noon, and already I've managed to take a test, think I fell behind on homework, and completely embarass myself. I had a Microeconomics test today, which was rocky at first. I kept getting my formulas mixed up. Finally, I flipped over my test and wrote out the definitions and formulas for everything on the back. Then it was a breeze, so I was happy leaving that test. Then I came back to the room, and was putting the finishing touches on my Calculus homework. He likes us to turn in a neat copy, so all I had to do was re-write it. I decided to check my e-mail first, however. I looked up at the clock, and, oh my gosh, it was 12:20. My class is at 12:40. I hurriedly re-wrote my homework, ran to class, opened the door, and there is an entirely different class sitting there. I backed out slowly, turned the corner, took out my cell phone to check the time, and what do you know? It was 11:40. Good thing I learned how to read a clock in 1st grade, right? So, good news, I now have some down town because my homework is done. Bad news, I mortified myself in front of a class of 35 people.
In other news, I found a restaurant in St. Paul that delivers Ben and Jerry's Ice Cream. No joke. Pizza Luce was already my favorite pizza place down here, but this might just make them my favorite restaurant ever. They have greek-style pizza and artichoke dip (both to die for), and they deliver dessert. Free deliviery until 2:30 AM. Heaven on Earth? Yes it exists, and it's called Pizza Luce.
I took my roommate and one of our other friends to Present Moment on Saturday, and they both absolutely loved it. We spent probably a good hour and a half just looking through books. I bought a set of Tarot cards while I was there. The artwork on the cards is very good, and the book that comes with it explains all the greek myths behind the cards. So if nothing else, I just bought some very pretty cards, and can brush up on my mythology.
Other than that, not much is going on. I'm at a stand still with my College Democrats event. I have an OK from the scheduling office, but no new time from the Al Franken campaign yet. What a pain. Oh well, it'll all be worth it when things finally get up and running.
I should probably go to my class, now that it's actually time for it.
