Scheduling woes

Yesterday, I had a lovely day. I met Rianna and Deebs for lunch, harassed Deebs for part of the day and saw a bunch of Debate people when I dropped a couple things off with Pritschet. I then came home and pretty much collapsed, which I think was because I was emotionally drained.

But the best part of my day did not come until about 10 last night. After thinking I had a scheduling problem yesterday afternoon, I went to check my e-mail to see if my roommate had e-mailed me or something. Instead, I found a lovely note saying that my Honors Seminar class had been dropped due to "expected" circumstances, which I took as typo and they meant unexpected. But, whatever, I had five days until classes started to find a new honors course.

Good news, I found one (after only an hour and a half of searching), it's called Races, Religion and Migration; bad news, I had to drop Jesus in History to take it, and I replaced Jesus in History with Intro to Fiction Writing. So, I now have an English course first semester, two Geography classes, one sociology course and one math class.

See, that's balanced right?

I'm just glad that it's done and completely finished; now I should go see what books I need to buy from them.

EDIT: I'm reading Chronicle of a Death Foretold in my English class!!!!!! Hee! I love Niemi and I love that book!!!!

Yes, I am crazy.

As Kara implied, my schedule is rather insane. I have 7 classes and three ensembles. Also, I have two sets of lessons. I figured I'd post it here so those of you that want to find me during the school week can (or, can try.)

1:20-2:30: Brass and Percussion Technique
4:00-5:00: Cobber Band (playing flute! yay!)
5:05-6:20: Concert Band

Plus, I have two hour long clarinet quartet rehearsals to fit in every week... most likely one at night and one on Fridays, but I'm not sure yet. We'll see.

So I expect to die in November-ish. It'll be fun. Jann can send me more drugs and soup. That care package was amazing. Anyway... have fun at school all!

Days, minutes, hours

Actually, I haven't started counting down yet. Interesting, I know. Currently, I'm sitting here waiting for Crystal to finish up with her flute audition (why audition on flute you say, because she's crazy and is going to join Cobber band as well).

She should be back here within about three minutes; so I figured I'd give you a quick update on my life in the past month. Ready?

I lied she's back. But she's off to get her dorm key.

So, I worked and worked and worked some more and decided that people who don't get their hotels a year in advance for the races are an exceptionally stupid breed of human being and thus should be shot. Next, I have also decided that road trips to Illinois, although, well, boring in the drive part, are completely worth the, OMG, I DIDN'T KNOW YOU WERE COMING; I THINK I'M GOING TO COLLAPSE NOW PART! Madden's has really, really good food, and I do love my job sometimes. Phone calls late at night make me cranky but I will always sit on the phone for an hour anyway. I hate loans and my books make absolutely no sense to me and my room has been cleaned, organized and still isn't clean enough for my mother; plus everything I'll be bringing is sitting in random piles throughout my house. And I'm really happy Crystal has wireless; I want wireless in my dorm.

Okay, done. Not edited. Enjoy!

My apartment is really nice and I invite you guys to come and visit me anytime you'd like to. My room is pretty big even though the kitchen is unusually small. I start classes tomorrow! Woohoo! I don't have a lot of time right now though, so I'm going to get going...If you have any questions please feel free to add a comment. Sorry this is so short, but I have to go work out now! Bye!!! I promise to blog much more and write much more!

Just for Fun

Doesn't matter how well it ended, one of these is a must.

So it's a little more vindictive than you need, but I like the song, okay?
