James Begs to Differ...

(Names blocked out to protect identity.) Howdy Hi everyone! It's been a while since my lasst post, so I have much to tell you about nothing at all. My pointless essay is out of the way now. I can't say it's a masterpeice, but it was the best I could do, given the prompt. In case anyone cares, writing below one's intelligence level is very difficult. My government class is going to be easy, but boring. It's a rerun of AP gov, and so I already know and underrstand most of what she's teaching. In fact, I wrote this post in class, then retyped it when I got back. Oh my gosh! Guess who is coming to speak at Hamline, and we are even required to go to one of his lectures (although I'm considering going to both)! Amitai Etzioni! No joke! OK. So most of you don't care because you didn't use his theory of communitariansim as a criterion in a debate case, but this is a huge deal! I'm pretty excited, anyway. I seriously need to start up my caffeine habit again. Sleeping in class is not a good thing. Other than that, I can't say anything that interesting has happened. My mom's coming down this weekend, which I am super excited about. We're going to go shopping, since I do not have enough warm weather clothes for the up and coming winter season. Speaking of which, I really think that it should go from 70 degrees to -40 all at one time. As an arthritis sufferer, I would be ok with that. None of this slow transition so that transitition stiffness is ongoing over a month or so. Let's have it all be over with in one day. Maybe I'll talk to Chuck Norris about that...

Are you seriously siding with James? If you are you have to check out the comments from my Babble blog. Seriously, he has nothing on me.
Oh...and I'm so glad that Hamline is challenging you mentally. I have no idea who that guy is but I'm excited for you. We had someone famous come to campus to. Bob Dylan...yup last saturday he came and did a concert. Too bad I don't care for his music all that much...I maybe would've paid for a ticket to attend the concert then. Rather, I got a free presentation since it was on an outdoor field by my dorm and I had my window open.
holy shit this is a dense blog.
And you seriously passed up a free Dylan concert? I cannot say I would have done the same.
Frick, I stopped reading your post after you asked us to guess who was coming to campus. I wanted to actually guess who it was. I gave up, and in an irrationally irratable anticipation, I looked and saw no one of significance to me. Go figure. :P
YOU DONT LIKE BOB DYLAN..... :-o
And yes I do beg to differ...for the reasons stated in Elfie's last post's comments
I am so confused at this point what the whole love fern argument is about. Is it over the name or the greeness? See, I'm just presenting everyone with all the facts, not siding with anyone in particular. So, now I will side with you, Sarah. I don't see it as passing up a Dylan Concert, you heard it from your dorm, right? Oh, and I didn't actually expect anyone to know who Etzioni is. He's a figure from my past in LD.
