Happy Guy Fawkes Day!
Remember, remember, the 5th of NovemberThe Gunpowder Treason and plot ;
I know of no reason why Gunpowder Treason
Should ever be forgot.
Guy Fawkes, Guy Fawkes,'Twas his intent.
To blow up the King and the Parliament.
Three score barrels of powder below.
Poor old England to overthrow.
By God's providence he was catch'd,
With a dark lantern and burning match
Holloa boys, Holloa boys, let the bells ring
Holloa boys, Holloa boys, God save the King!
Hip hip Hoorah !Hip hip Hoorah !
A penny loaf to feed ol'Pope,
A farthing cheese to choke him.
A pint of beer to rinse it down,
A faggot of sticks to burn him.
Burn him in a tub of tar,
'Burn him like a blazing star.
Burn his body from his head,
Then we'll say: ol'Pope is dead.

*pokes Sara repeatedly* But I posted this on my blog about 8 hours ago. :P
A slightly different version, though... I couldn't find the movie one. Mine came from some British nursery rhymes site.
Mine is the Anti-Catholic original, haha, not the fodder of nursery rhymes!
We should so get together right now and burn some effigies.
Sweet! Let's do it. Who should be burn? Government officials?
O.o let's not get arrested, shall we?
I love how that this provokes way more of a response than any true post. That's pretty awesome.
I'm in! Where's Effigy? (J/K, that's what some guy said about my step dad when someone said he should burn in effigy...)
Nothing wrong with getting arrested... Maybe they'll take me to the happy padded room. No homework in there.
Hm... Maybe we can be cell neighbors. Padded rooms sound rather... cozy. As long as nobody forgets about us.
A good friend will bail you out of jail. A best friend is sitting on the cot next to you saying, "Damn, that was fun!"
Haha exactly
