Toothbrushes and Sickeningly Happy Couples

Well Max, it seems that even if I warn you, you read anyway, so you may as well, but consider this a warning. This post will be very girly with the exception of the toothbrush part...

I had a really great day at work yesterday. Overall, I made $1,000 for Hamline, over 6 pledges. 4 of those were on a credit card, which is really good. 4 were increased pledges, so I made an $8 bonus last night, before matching gifts came in. I realize this is probably confusing, so just nod and smile while simultaneously pretending to know that this is a good thing. While this should put me in an extraordinary mood, it doesn't. I've been in an off mood all week. I wouldn't really call it angry or depressed, nor would I necessarily categorize it as all bad. It's had to explain, so I'll just say that my mood has been weird. Now before you all start calling mental health institutions to get me evaluated, let me explain. there have been very high points this week. Monday was good, Tuesday I made a great presentation, and both work and Marian the Librarian cheered me up on Wednesday. I think most of my problem is that all week I have been dwelling on past regrets, which accumulated until I got to work last night. I got a list of people that are repeat givers. These people are usually the ones who love Hamline, and a good majority of them met their spouses at Hamline. This means I listen to countless stories about how people found their happily ever after at Hamline. As sweet as it is, after a few I begin to get sick of it. Happy couples bother me. By my own definition, this means that Sarah and Crystal should bother me, but you don't. Mix all of this together, and bake at 350 degrees for 10-12 minutes, and you get the ultimate weird mood cookie. A state of perpetual reflection, regret, and confusion, with chunks of happiness and increased feminism (don't ask). I've been listening to Michelle Branch all week. I think I know what needs to happen to clear said mood, it's just something I don't like doing. I hate those types of solutions.

On an entirely non-related note, I've decided that there is a conspiracy in the toothbrush industry. I love the toothbrushes the dentist gives me. The problem is, it wimps out before the next appointment. When I go to the store to buy a new toothbrush, they never have the same kind the dentist gives you. So I pick out a different one. That one lasts me to the next dentist appointment where they give me a new toothbrush. The store brush is not yet ready to be thrown, however. There's not enough room for both in the toothbrush holder, so one has to go. Since I love the dentist brush, it's the store brush, which seems unfair because it still has a couple good brushes in it. Now, if they sold the same toothbrush at the store that they give you in the dentist's office I wouldn't have this problem, but they don't, so I do. I also hate that they're not recyclable. That's a lot of waste for good dental hygiene...

ok... I have a few things...
first: *hugs* I love you Rianna.

second: I'm really glad that I don't bother you.

third: I really loved your post on Facebook. I wonder who hacked Logan's account? (or maybe he's just finally completely lost his mind...)

5 bucks says it was Kara. She hacked his blog profile, right?

No, it wasn't me. I mean, I had the opportunity if Crystal hadn't pointed out I was going to use his computer on Sunday. I wouldn't crash servers, simply change things like his profile, which is way more fun for me.

I want to know who it was. I'll shake their hand.

Well, did you hack Logan's profile on facebook?

Whoever did it was a drummer because A.) They said so and B.) They can't spell. S/he commented somewhere saying that "Percussionists definatly rock. Have you heard my section (i.e. trombones) we suck!" or something along those lines. That's just my theory... and we all know that the percussionists have a fair vendeta against Logan.

But, yes, whoever hacked it definitely* deserves some sort of reward.

does anyone else think it's kind of funny that we have a post entitled "keep it gay" the day before someone hacks Logan's account?

he said "our section"... I thought that was in reference to the percussionists... not trombones... O.o

Okay, you're right, I'm wrong. He just can't spell the word definitely. Gottcha.

lol ok. I was confused too. but he fixed it now. though he forgot to change his "professional info"... he's not really a stripper at a gay 90's bar, is he? ;)

Here we go.

Somebody hacked into Logan's email and facebook by acquiring his password. They changed the details of his facebook profile to be utterly suggestive besides the continual mention of his hobbies "being gay". The band reference probably actually means, well, the words "we suck" describing Logan's trombone section, in which he is principal, has obvious connotations.

Sam, everyone knows you are the master of computers everywhere.

Sam; you don't even have to own up, just make some sort of HINT and we'll secretly deliver you a cake or something, because, well, whoever IS responsible definitely takes the cake for all kopesetic pranks!!!
